Policies and guidance for all orders

Items that are requested to have any form of personalization, such as a name, dates, locations, wedding vows, special meanings/sayings, or items not ordinarily sold in our shop, etc. payment is required immediately prior to customizing the item. Personalized items cannot be resold in the event that the customer chooses not to pay for or pick up their item. Thus, requiring payment upfront.

Please note that Wooden Woodworks LLC is very efficient in making sure that our customers are completely and 100% satisfied with all choices in their custom piece, from the sizing to the stain or color and any wording prior to physically making our customer’s items. Once our customers have provided us with their requests, color choices, design options, and have provided us with their approval on their custom design image, Wooden Woodworks LLC will assume that the customer is satisfied with their custom choices. Therefore, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be permitted as the customer’s payment covers the cost of materials and time spent making the custom order. In the event that the customer’s item is damaged or an error is present prior to leaving Wooden Woodworks LLC to the customer’s hands, Wooden Woodworks LLC will make every attempt to rectify the item or scenario, whether it be correcting any mistakes, replacing the item or providing a full refund. 

All items are made to order. Some items are ready to be sold immediately and are listed in our Facebook Shop, Marketplace, or other. If you’re unsure, please send us a message and we’ll let you know immediately. Items made to order currently have a turnaround time of up to 4-12 weeks or lesser. It is important the customer indicates prior to deposit submission if the item is needed by a special date or time. We work on our projects in the order they were requested, when a special deadline is needed, we work on that outside of regular business hours or our time off. Again, please inquire as to what the timeframe will be prior to submitting your payment, as there will occasionally be times that we may have an abundance of paid orders to complete. *This is especially important around the holiday seasons*

At Wooden Woodworks LLC all items are made to order. Wooden Woodworks LLC will expect 50% of the purchase total upfront as a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. This covers the cost of materials and time spent starting your item or organizing the order. The remaining 50% of your purchase total is expected to be paid upon item completion. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange to pick up/deliver their item. When doing so, Wooden Woodworks LLC is not to be held liable for any damage caused after order picks up and/or order delivery. Wooden Woodworks LLC can deliver for an additional charge, to be determined upon mileage and possible truck rental to deliver the customer’s item. Wooden Woodworks LLC will have furniture pre-assembled for the customer, however, it would be the customer’s responsibility to move the item into their home and to its desired placement. Wooden Woodworks LLC is not to be held liable for any damage caused once the item has been unloaded and left in the customer’s possession. If the customer would like the furniture item to be assembled or placed in their home, store, room, or location of preference, Wooden Woodworks LLC can do so upon request. Wooden Woodworks LLC is not to be held liable for any damage caused after the item has been assembled and Wooden Woodworks LLC has left the furniture item in the customer’s possession.

At Wooden Woodworks LLC we take pride in our work and are always aiming to provide each order the same determination, dedication, respect, and detail accuracy. With this being said it is the customer’s responsibility to assure the custom piece fits through all walk areas of your home or space, after the item is built we are not liable for it’s fitting. There are a lot of tight spaces in some homes and not all entryways are the same size. Please plan ahead.

At Wooden Woodworks LLC we take advantage of dry weather. Some seasons may be rougher than others. All items have an extensive process and require time to ensure a quality product is being provided to our customers and we ask for patience and understanding in such. Updates will be provided regularly so that the customer is aware of what is transpiring with their newly ordered item.

Please note that each item is an original; we hand cut, sand, stain, assemble, paint, and distress each individual item by hand. No two items are exactly the same. Due to the character of wood, sometimes knots and natural imperfections are present (bumps, grooves, nicks, dents, chips, knots, and slight indentations). We do our best to pick out the best-looking pieces of wood, but we also feel that slight imperfections help add to the character of our handmade items. Therefore, we do not attempt to remove these, we simply smooth them out. We love the simplicity of the piece being so unique. In the event that this bothers you, please let us know prior to placing your order with Wooden Woodworks LLC that you would like an item with less natural imperfections so that we can hand-select pieces of wood that fit your needs. If you would like wood without natural imperfections, please be advised that this may prolong the building and designing timeframe for a completed item. Due to the nature of wood, the knots and grain in the wood may stain colors and paints differently. Some stain and paint colors may appear slightly lighter or darker depending on the nature of the wood. Additionally, please note that colors of stain and/or paint may appear lighter or darker on your computer or cell phone screens than they appear in person. Because of the nature of wood and the beautiful imperfections that comes in each piece, we recommend if this were a very meticulous decision that you come by our shop to go over some live samples Wooden Woodworks LLC will not refund the customers purchase total in the event that wood imperfections are a problem to the customer.

Wooden Woodworks LLC discloses upfront regarding the character of wood so that the customer has the opportunity to request a different section of wood prior to an order being made. We use pine wood in all projects unless otherwise requested to use hardwood etc. Thus, the responsibility falls upon the customer at the time of purchase.

Please note that cursive fonts do not come pre-connected. In our design system, all of the letters come unconnected. Therefore, we have to manually connect each and every letter to every word. This takes a considerable amount of time and can delay your timeframe for a completed item. Due to this, Wooden Woodworks LLC will provide a selected amount of numbered font choices with unconnected letters. We will then ask that you find your top 2 favorites and we will connect your chosen fonts so that you can see your full layout. In the case that there is a font that the customer saw elsewhere, a sample can be sent but not always matched identically. There are millions of web pages and font artists in the world, which may lead Wooden Woodworks LLC to be unable to match the exact font. In this case, Wooden Woodworks LLC would provide a similar font to use. Please note that fonts are NOT free. In order to make and sell you a customized item, we have to have paid commercial rights to use the fonts that we currently have. We provide our customer’s font choices of fonts that have been purchased for commercial use. We understand that at times there is a font that you absolutely must-have for your customized item. If we do not have said font, we can order it at the customer’s expense to be used on your customized item. Additionally, please take notice that we do not like to copy someone else’s work. We like to be creative. Therefore, if you ask us to make something based on a photo you’ve found, we will find a way to make it our own, therefore not an exact copy of someone else’s hard work.

The backs of our signs, desks, and other similar items are sanded but are unpainted unless the customer has requested and paid for Wooden Woodworks LLC to paint or finish. Also, all of our wood items have been branded with our company logo (this will assure the item was handmade by Wooden Woodworks LLC)

Wooden Woodworks LLC is not set up for shipping at this time. Wooden Woodworks LLC will hold paid custom orders for up to 2 weeks from the date of the item’s completion. It is the customer’s responsibility to pick up their item in a timely fashion. We are a home-based business and not a storage facility, therefore we lack the space to hold multiple orders at a time. If after 2 weeks you have still not picked up your item, we can research and provide you with shipping options, at the customer’s expense. If you refuse to ship and are still unable to pick up your item after all reasonable attempts are made for you to retrieve your item, no refunds, returns or exchanges will be permitted as the customers payment covers the cost of materials and time spent making the custom order Wooden Woodworks LLC then will have the right to place the order for sale to another customer at a discounted price if paid partially, as a giveaway if paid in full or however Wooden Woodworks LLC sees fit.

Wooden Woodworks LLC accepts cash, Venmo, Zelle, all major credit cards via Chase processing. The prices listed are not including tax. As my business is conducted in Belton, Texas, I must charge sales tax on all purchases at the current rate of 8.25% of your purchase total.

Wooden Woodworks LLC is a small business. We do not have an office or building location. We work out of our home. We are a husband-and-wife team that works together to make special items for your home, business, and such. We’re not a huge manufacturer and we do not have the equipment to handle mass production. Everything that we make is handmade at all times. Please keep this in mind prior to ordering.

Once our customers have provided us with their sizing requests, color choices, design options, and have provided us with their approval on their custom design image, Wooden Woodworks LLC will assume that the customer is satisfied with their custom choices. Therefore, no refunds, returns, or exchanges will be permitted as the customer’s payment covers the cost of materials and time spent making the custom order.

Cancellations are allowed within 24 hours from the time that the order was placed and paid and are subject to consideration for a full refund.

It is Wooden Woodworks LLC’s goal to ensure that our customers get exactly what they’re requesting from us and walk away happy and pleased with a new custom decor item that they’re proud to display in their homes. If for any reason you are not 100% happy with your new item, please send Wooden Woodworks LLC a private message and allow us the opportunity to correct any possible issues.
